Als Rückenschmerzen bezeichnet man Schmerzen der Muskeln, Nerven, Knochen oder anderen Strukturen im Bereich des Rückens bzw. der Wirbelsäule. In der medizinischen Terminologie werden Rückenschmerzen als Dorsalgie bezeichnet. Eine Lumbalgie bzw. Lumboischialgie bezeichnet Schmerzen in der Lenden- oder Kreuzregion. The concertina barrier-like vascular support (usually made of high grade steel) is introduced to the arterial vessels following balloon dilatation, to reduce the frequency of renewed vascular stenosis. The stents are then coated with medication, which have their own therapeutic effects. Organ donation is the removal of tissue or organs from recently deceased individuals in order to transplant it into a recipient. Generally, this procedure is done after the donor has been declared brain-dead, which then allows for the removal and donation of nearly all transplantable tissue. Sometimes, in case of a kidney, bone marrow or partial liver donation, these procedures may also be performed on donors that are still alive, as the health effects for the donor may be minimal.
